In my English class, I'm working on this nonfiction project, and I'm doing a book on Greek mythology (Tales of the Greek Heroes by Roger Lancelyn Green, to be exact). Yeah, I was kind of surprised when my English teacher said that mythology was considered nonfiction. BUT mythology is actually ancient science, so I guess because the word "science" is in it, that makes it nonfiction. I don't know.
So for my little monument project, I decided to use tin foil and stick it to stuff. (NOTE: there will be no further elaboration due to the fact that people might use the idea and not actually work at all.) When I used tape to try to stick the foil to stuff, it just didn't work. Then I tried gluesticks, which turned out to be as useless as a body building kit for Vexen (that joke belongs to xochibi and/or anyone else that has ever used it before me); THEN I tried Elmer's glue, which turned out to be almost worse than the gluestick. While I was getting pissed off about the glue, I madly chewed my gum (yes, I was chewing gum that entire time) and got this super crazy idea.
WARNING: YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ ABOUT A POSSIBLY DISGUSTING DISCOVERY! DO NOT SUE ME IF YOU READ IT AND SAY, "EEW!!" OR ANYTHING ALONG THE LINES OF THAT. I AM WARNING YOU SO IF I DO GO TO COURT, I HAVE A CUSHION TO FALL ON!!!
So I grab a tiny bit of my gum, stick it to the tin foil that's been pissing me off, and stick the foil to whatever the heck I wanted it to stick to. It worked.
Now I'm having my sister eat Christmas chocolates for the chocolates' colored foil to perform any necessary decorative function for my project, and I will be chewing gum to use it as a kind of domestic Mighty Putty (R.I.P. Billy Mays) to stick my project together.

In other news, I found this awesome book in a grocery store and in four hours of reading I'm about two pages away from being EXACTLY halfway through the book. The title is in the Reading whatchamacallit.
